1. Who we are
Pathway is provided by Intuico Digital LLC ("Intuico," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy applies to the Pathway mobile application, its supporting services, and Pathway-specific support requests.
2. Information Pathway handles
Anonymous account and device identifiers
Pathway can be used without creating a named account. On first launch, the app creates a random install identifier and exchanges it for a session token. We use these identifiers to keep your plans, progress, guidance allowance, and subscription access connected to your installation.
Some versions of Pathway also let you use Sign in with Apple as an optional account recovery or linking method. If you choose it, we receive an Apple-specific user identifier and may receive your name or relay email when Apple makes it available.
Profile and onboarding choices
- A first name, if you choose to provide one
- Your selected focus, goals, experience level, preferred rhythm, and similar onboarding answers
- Streak count, completed days, current plan, and other progress information
- Notification preferences and app settings
Content you submit
- Questions and messages you send through Scripture guidance or chat
- Topics and prompts you use to create a Bible study path
- Plan notes, responses, and completion status
- Reflections you choose to save
Pathway sends the content needed to answer your question or create the feature you requested to our service providers. Some saved reflections and preferences are kept on your device. Plans, plan progress, chat history, and related content may also be stored in our service database so you can return to them.
Purchases and subscriptions
Apple processes App Store payments. RevenueCat helps Pathway confirm purchase status, restore purchases, and provide Pathway+ access. We receive purchase and entitlement information, but we do not receive your full payment card number or Apple ID password.
Diagnostics and service records
Pathway and its service infrastructure may process crash reports, performance data, app version, device and operating system details, timestamps, request status, IP address, and an anonymous user identifier. We use this information to keep the app working, investigate errors, prevent abuse, and protect the service.
3. How we use information
- Provide daily Scripture, devotionals, plans, prayer prompts, guidance, saved content, and progress tracking
- Personalize a starting path from the focus and rhythm you select
- Maintain sessions and connect an optional Apple sign-in
- Confirm subscriptions, restore purchases, and apply free or Pathway+ limits
- Send reminders you request through your device's notification system
- Find and fix crashes, improve performance, prevent misuse, and secure our services
- Respond to support, privacy, and legal requests
We do not sell personal information. Pathway does not use third-party advertising or an advertising identifier.
4. Service providers
We share only the information needed for these providers to perform their work:
- Cloudflare hosts Pathway's API, database, security controls, and related service infrastructure. Read the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
- OpenRouter and selected AI model providers process the prompt and context needed to generate study plans, devotionals, or answers you request. Read the OpenRouter Privacy Policy.
- RevenueCat manages subscription status and purchase entitlements. Read the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
- Sentry processes crash, performance, and diagnostic information. Read the Sentry Privacy Policy.
- Apple processes App Store purchases, optional Sign in with Apple, and device notification delivery. Read Apple's Privacy Policy.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets.
5. Data storage and retention
Local settings and saved content remain on your device until you remove them, clear app data, or uninstall the app. Uninstalling Pathway may remove local data but does not automatically delete records already stored by our service providers.
Server records are kept for as long as needed to provide Pathway, maintain subscription and account continuity, meet legal or accounting duties, resolve disputes, and protect the service. Diagnostic and security records may be kept for shorter operational periods or longer when an incident requires investigation.
Information is encrypted in transit. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
6. Your choices and requests
- Change notification permissions in iOS Settings.
- Manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store account settings.
- Delete individual plans or saved content where the app provides that control.
- Choose whether to use Sign in with Apple when that option is available.
- Request access, correction, or deletion by contacting us.
Because Pathway uses an anonymous identifier by default, we may ask for the identifier shown in the app or other information needed to locate and verify the relevant records. We may retain information when the law requires it or when it is needed for fraud prevention, security, or legal claims.
7. Regional privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information. You may also have the right to appeal a decision or complain to a data protection authority. We will handle requests under the law that applies to you.
We do not discriminate against you for making a privacy request. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
8. Children
Pathway is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child below that age. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information can contact us to request review and deletion.
9. International processing
Intuico Digital LLC is based in the United States. Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on approved safeguards for international transfers.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Pathway or the law changes. We will post the revised policy here and change the date at the top. We will provide additional notice in the app when a change materially affects how we handle information.
